Nelson highlighted long-term opportunities in the Philippines given the country’s promising growth and pending legislation opening up the retail sector to foreign investors. With the Brexit transition period coming to an end, the British Chamber sees this as an opportunity to promote Philippines as the gateway to international trade in Southeast Asia.
