25th June – The British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines together with Ginebra San Miguel celebrated World Gin Day in the Philippines. The event was held at Tower Club, Makati City. Globe Telecom and Manny O Wines were also there to sponsor the event.
Started in 2009 in Birmingham in the UK, World Gin Day celebrates all things gin every June.
Nearing a hundred in attendance, British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (BCCP) Chairman Chris Nelson and Ginebra San Miguel Marketing Manager Nelson Elises started off the event with a toast welcoming guests from the Philippine and British business community.
From fruit mixes to the classic Gin & Tonic’s, Ginebra San Miguel showcased a wide variety of gin mixes for the guests to enjoy while networking the night away. Ginebra PBA players, Chris Ellis and Josh Urbiztondo, and Ginebra Calendar Girl Ellen Adarna, were also there to present the raffles prizes to the winners and join in the festivities.
