With many of the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines’ members already back in the country after the summer holidays, the BCCP staged an August Socials event last Wednesday, August 27, at Dusit Thani Hotel Manila’s Umu restaurant. Members and invited guests were treated to an array of delicious food based on Japanese, Thai and Filipino cuisines.
Apart from meeting old and new friends alike and feasting over Dusit's top dishes, the members were also given a chance to take home some prizes courtesy of the event’s sponsors.
Mr. Manolo Garcia-Ramos of BPO International Inc. and Sinclair James International’s Michael Whiting won a lunch treat for two persons each at Sala Restaurant.
Asian Tigers Mobility’s Richard Dyas and Eric Szopa of ClearVPN were the lucky winners of T.M. Lewin gift certificates worth Php 5,000 each.
Exposure Media Production’s Peter Carney nabbed an Overnight Stay at The Farm at San Benito.
Anna Warren Gonzalez of Roof Interchange & Merchantry, Inc. went home with the night's grand prize of two Philippine Airlines economy class, round trip tickets to Manila-Hongkong-Manila.
