The British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (BCCP) recently hosted a business briefing on the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law in partnership with Kittelson & Carpo Consulting.
Attended by more than 70 guests coming from various industries, the TRAIN Law Briefing was led by Department of Finance Undersecretary Karl Chua who gave updates on the recently passed Package 1 of the TRAIN Law as well as the proposed Package 2. Kittelson & Carpo Consulting President Atty. Amanda Carpo also gave her insights on the TRAIN Law, focusing on the PEZA VAT zero-rating and effect on mixed income earners, new processes and filing dates and VAT refunds. The briefing was moderated by BCCP Vice Chairman Bill Bailey.
