We, at the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines, are delighted to announce that the BCCP is the largest European national chamber of commerce in the Philippines with a total of 216 members as of the 4th of August 2014. This figure highlights the strong relationship between the UK and Philippine business groups in the country.
Many BCCP’s members are multinational corporations which are headquartered in the UK. There is also a good mix of Philippine-based member companies and other non-British multinational corporations which are interested in getting involved alongside British and Filipino businesses in the country. One of BCCP’s main roles is to endorse the interests of its members with Philippine and British political and business groups.
Aside from the BCCP, there are three other major EU national chambers of commerce in the Philippines. The German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry closely follows the BCCP in size, while the French and Spanish chambers have about half the number of members of the British and German chambers. Meanwhile, the European Chamber of Commerce Philippines represents the business interests of all of the 28 member states acting as one through the European Union.
Details about the different kinds of membership can be found on the Membership Categories and Benefits section of the BCCP website.
