The British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP) headed by its Chairman, Chris Nelson, met with Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Santiago III on 6 February 2018.
The purpose of this meeting was to formally invite Governor Defensor to be one of the keynote speakers for the upcoming Iloilo Trade and Investment Forum on 9 March. In recognition of his pivotal role as provincial chief executive, BCCP believes that the he can offer a valuable input with regard to “Developing Iloilo’s Economic Viability” to tackle business opportunities and discuss
plans to attract investments in Iloilo during the forum.
Governor Defensor gracefully accepted the invitation and has committed strong support from the
Provincial Government in this initiative.
