British Chamber holds 4th Joint Economic Briefing

 

19 June 2018 – The British Chamber of Commerce together with the Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish chambers recently held the 4th Joint Economic Briefing on Foreign Direct Investments at Makati Diamond Residences.

Over a hundred participants attended the briefing which was opened by a Keynote speech from Department of Finance Undersecretary Karl Chua. Undersecretary Chua emphasized that the TRAIN Law’s benefits far outweighs its disadvantages.

Other speakers were Roderick de Castro from TeaM Energy Foundation, Engr. Rufino Bomasang of Petroleum Association of the Philippines, Engr. Teddy Reyes of the Philippine Institute of Petroleum, and Sim Hwee Ping of Acciona Infrastructuras S.A. who shared their best practices and highlighted some investment opportunities in their respective sectors.
