The British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (BCCP) held its 4th Speed Networking Night in collaboration with the German, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch Chambers, at the Makati Diamond Residences recently.
This initiative brought more than 200 people from different industries, interested in creating new contacts and expanding their existing database. Businessmen, entrepreneurs, sales personnel, lawyers, bankers and consultants were just a few of the professions that got the one to one opportunity to make a 2-minute pitch. The concise networking procedure helped the participants present the most important details about their business in an engaging and interesting way to every person seated in the opposite chair and extract the most valuable information from their contacts. The irreplaceable benefit of leaving with more than 20 contacts is what makes the 4th Speed Networking a valuable initiative for every professional with ambition for network and business expansion.
The event started with the ceremonial toast led by BCCP Executive Chairman Chris Nelson, together with German Chamber President Tristan Loveres, French Chamber Managing Director Vanessa Hans, Italian Chamber Treasurer Sergio Boero, Phil-Netherlands Treasurer Bas Haafs, and Spanish Chamber Executive Director Barbara Apraiz. The speed networking session was on the other hand facilitated by CEO of Trade Advisors Atty Anthony Abad, who also served as the host of the event.
The event was further enhanced by the use of the 4th SNN App that helps capture contact and sponsors’ information directly into their phones, making it the most unique Speed Networking event ever held in Metro Manila. This App was developed by Pointwest Technologies, a BCCP Member.
The night was capped with the awarding of two roundtrip tickets by Etihad Airways, won by Alberto Manuel of BDO and Hannah Musidi of Moores Rowland. For more photos of the event, visit our Events Gallery.
