The British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP) will visit Iloilo on March 8 and 9 to promote regional investment and spur economic development in the countryside.
The delegation, which will be headed by BCCP Chairman Chris Nelson and British Ambassador Daniel Pruce, will explore business opportunities in the Visayas region. The delegation’s agenda will include a Trade and Investment Forum and Business Networking on March 8 to be followed by site visits and sector briefings on March 9.
In partnership with British Embassy Manila and supported by DTI London, Iloilo Business Club, Iloilo Economic Development Foundation Inc., UK-ASEAN Business Council, South-East Asia IPR SME Helpesk, Makati Business Club, Philippine-British Business Council, and Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event is held in celebration of the annual GREAT British Festival from 23 February to 10 March.
Last year, BCCP went to Davao in Mindanao which has so far resulted in two business wins.
