Trade and Connect: Forecasting 2024: UK-PH Economic Perspectives

The Philippines and the United Kingdom have embarked on its 77 years of friendship through collaborative efforts and partnership in terms of trade and economy, security, and diplomatic causes. In its nearly eight decades of long standing relationship, key trade developments were enforced and have continued to contribute to its ever-growing bilateral relations. 

Economic developments in the previous years remain present despite global headwinds. In its 4th Philippines-UK Economic Dialogue, the two countries reaffirmed its commitment to providing mutual support through strategic measures and policies that will help strengthen trade and investment opportunities emphasizing on multiple sectors and further widening market access. 

The British Chamber of Commerce Philippines presents under its monthly series: Trade & Connect, the webinar titled, “Forecasting 2024: UK-PH Economic Perspectives” which aim to provide an outlook of the UK-PH trade relations, and delve into the sentiments of the British businesses, government agencies, and the private sector in exploring investment opportunities in the Philippines.
