Wednesday, September 10 – the British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (BCCP) with the French Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (Le Club), the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (GPCCI) and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce Philippines (La Camara) held a brimming and successful Speed Networking Night at the New World Hotel Makati.
Members and guests were welcomed to the venue, which was decorated by each chamber to represent their country. The British had a model Big Ben and an iconic British red telephone box, LeClub went with a French café theme, the Germans celebrated their 2014 Soccer World Cup championship and the La Camara were in traditional flamenco colours.
The Speed Networking happened in four batches, with each country given 15 minutes to go around the room and forge new business contacts from the other three chambers. Guests were given a “boarding pass” which served as their raffle ticket, where they had to acquire 10 signatures from their new contacts to be eligible.
Etihad, the official airline for the Speed Networking Night raffled away 1 economy class return ticket to Europe. Other raffles prizes were a 4 day, 3 night stay at The Farm at San Benito and cash vouchers from Porsche Design.
