Tuesday, 11 March 2014 – The British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines hosted a Business Lunch at the Dusit Thani Manila, where guest speakers talked about Taxation and Visa matters.
Atty. Edwin Abella from Alba Romeo & Co. spoke about the process individuals were to take in claiming their tax refunds. His presentation also included a basic review of the different kinds of tax refunds, when one is qualified to apply for a tax refund and the procedure in pursuing tax refunds.
As a Business Registration & Visa Consultant in Kittelson & Carpo, BCCP invited Ann Garrido-Aceveda again to present about Visa matters, particularly about updates on the Bureau of Immigration. Some of the changes that the bureau has enacted are the changes for Tourists from a 21-day visa to a 30-day visa, as well as the Long-Stay Visitor Visa Extension to encourage foreigners to prolong their stay in the country and increase tourism.
