British financial, legal services firms eye PHL – Business World

The Philippines could be a solid market for certain British service companies that will be looking to tap a “transforming” economy that is becoming “more sophisticated,” According to UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond.

In September 2015, the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines said that the bilateral trade between the Philippines and the United Kingdom stood at $1.8 billion annually, with the United Kingdom Trade and Investment expecting it to grow by as much as 50% during the year.
