The British Chamber, in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, brings you Flex it, Work it! Setting the Bar on Productivity, a labor briefing on relevant issues facing the labor sector today.
In this briefing, various means of improving productivity in the workplace will be discussed, one of which is telecommuting. Telecommuting seeks to beat the worsening traffic situation in the country today and provide a work-life balance for employees.
Listen to our special guest speaker Sen. Joel Villanueva as he takes us through the salient points of the Telecommuting Act of 2016 which he authored and is currently pushing in Senate.
Other speakers are Dr. Teresita Cucueco, Director IV of DOLE-Bureau of Working Conditions who will talk about developments in the labor sector, Ms Paola Verayo, AVP-HR of Meralco who will share their company’s experience with telecommuting, and Atty Trisha Cruz, Senior Associate of Carpo and Law Associates, to give a reaction of the private sector towards the Telecommuting program/act.
