Infrastructure remains to be one of the critical priorities of the Philippines. As noted in the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028, the need to provide an efficient, sustainable, and resilient infrastructure landscape calls for enhanced strategies to implement and develop programs that encourage partnerships and investments.

The recently signed Republic Act 11966, or the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Code, aims to narrow the P23-trillion infrastructure investment gap and boost the country’s foreign direct investments (FDIs) by allowing collaboration between the private sector and the government to facilitate the goal of increasing infrastructure spending of 5-6% of the country’s GDP.

Join us at the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines for the second run of its Trade and Connect series, with the theme “Concrete Investments: A Look Into the PH Infrastructure Industry” this 28 February 2024, as we navigate the infrastructure industry and provide a comprehensive dialogue among key officials and stakeholders to analyze the risks and investment opportunities for foreign investors.
