  • organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines
    Wednesday, 10 February 2021
    9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

In the second installment of the Business Conference Logistics Series organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), in partnership with All Transport Network (ATN), last July 24, 2020, stakeholders from importers & exporters, international freight forwarders, representatives from port terminals and shipping line associations, and the Bureau of Customs informed and discussed with our participants on market and policy updates.

Some highlights include:

  • transition to online platforms (customs clearance, bookings, payments)
  • high costs of domestic shipping
  • port and infrastructure updates
  • innovations and/or business model adjustments due to the pandemic

This online conference had 118 participants, 96 of which stayed online from beginning to end – from Agriculture, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare, ICT, Logistics, and other business sectors.

Following this success, the ECCP and ATN, supported by the British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, and the Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, are continuing this necessary dialogue on 10 Feb 2021 at 9:00 am-12:00nn. Apart from the usual updates, this conference will be focused on tools, initiatives, and policies of stakeholders intended to improve international and local trade.
