The Princess Royal visits the BCCP

On 17 March 2015, Her Royal Highness, Princess Royal, Princess Anne graced the BCCP with her presence during her 4-day visit to the Philippines.

The Princess Royal’s visit was targeted towards humanitarian aid, in particular a visit to the city of Ormoc which is one of the project sites of the Save the Children organization whom the Princess is president of for more than four decades.

As part of her itinerary, the Princess Royal also stopped by different British organisations including BCCP, where she met with the Board of Trustees and the organisation’s Platinum Sponsors.

This is the second visit of the princess to the Philippines, the first being on March 1999.

The Princess Royal is the second child and only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh. Before receiving the title Princess Royal from her mother in June 1987, she was known as Princess Anne. The Princess Royal heads about 320 organizations.
